Born and raised in the Chicago land area, Lauren Bergiel currently resides in the South Loop. She loves the South Loop for its tremendous dog friendliness. An avid dog lover, she specializes in working with families who have dogs and are looking to purchase or sell their home. Having a 55 pound, blue-nosed Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull), she knows how difficult it can be to find a condo building that will accept pets without breed or weight restrictions. Having this understanding and area knowledge, adds value to her current clientele.  She states, “When searching for pet friendly condos or apartments, it is important to chose a Realtor who understands animal policies and regulations of downtown Chicago and has the knowledge of local pet friendly services and facilities.”  She specializes in working in the West Loop, South Loop, Downtown, and Near North Neighborhoods such as River West, River North, Streeterville, Lincoln Park, Lakeview, and Old Town.

In addition to being a Realtor, Lauren is also a real estate investor. With previous experience as an Assistant Controller working in Managerial Accounting, and having a degree in Finance from the University of Illinois at Chicago, real estate investing was a natural path.  She has owned and managed properties, both in Illinois and out of state. Understanding what is involved with creating positive cash flow investment properties and how to manage them effectively, she is able to educate first time investors as well as lend creative solutions to seasoned investors.
